"Hoes" And "Playas"

So I wanna know, do you believe society still categorize males and females in differently when it comes to promiscuous behavior and do you believe it's wrong?

Society is set up in a way where men are praised for things that women are given a bad rep for. Stereo-types are all around, and I think the most common is that of promiscuity. When it comes to sexual behavior or promiscuity, males and females are obviously viewed differently. A man is aloud to have various partners and be considered a hero, where as a woman who has various partners is considered a "a woman with no respect for her body" aka a "hoe". Keeping in mind that the definition of "hoe" and "player"has been re-invented by society.

In this day and age do you thing this should still be the mentality of people? Or better yet, is this behavior acceptable for either genders?

Some web definitions (according to dictionary.com):

Hoe: A woman that sells her body to make money and then answers to a pimp to pay a percentage for providing client and transportation.

Playa: A Playa can be male or female and by definition be good at the game they play i.e. playing men or woman to get what they want. The man or woman leads on multiple people of the opposite sex into thinking there is a long term relationship in process, when in reality they are just using them for the beneficial purpose of becoming a legend.
